starting it right

I woke up extra early today to join my parents in going to mass. They normally go Tuesdays and Fridays, aside from the Sunday obligation.

I guess I wanted to start my day right and the best way I could think of this - thanking God for all his blessings and asking for His grace and the strength to make things right and better.

I have come to realize that no matter how much I want things to go my way, He always intervenes and puts me back in the track where He knows best. Though I may not agree with everything He's allowing me to experience, I know His way is better. I honestly don't think I can be left on my own.

I believe all the things I have experienced and the choices I made are parts of a big plan - one that is supposed to make me a better person. I can say that I have lived my life with my own choices but I know that when I'm down and out I always go back to Him for guidance and direction.
